2 killed, P70 T cash taken in Navotas fishport robbery

A security guard and a janitor were killed while a laptop and P70,000 cash were stolen in a midnight robbery at a fish brokerage firm in Navotas City at midnight Sunday. Radio station dzRH reported Monday morning that at least four robbers barged into the St. Joseph Group fish brokerage firm and stabbed dead security guard Noel Angeles and janitor Milo Castillano. Investigators suspect an inside job in the heist, noting that the suspects knew where the vault was. Janitor Richard Pamanas, who managed to survive by hiding in a nearby room, told the police that four unidentified men barged into the brokerage office in Dagat-Dagatan at midnight. He said the four chanced upon Angeles and Castillano, and stabbed them before taking the cash and laptop. - GMANews.TV
