"Alam mo nagkabalikan na kami, for the meantime, here in Manila. Nagkabalikan na, in the sense na talagang kami na ulit," confirmed Ruffa Gutierrez when asked if she and husband Yilmaz Bektas had gotten back together. Ruffa, however, clarified that she and Yilmaz still have many things to talk about. She explained in a live interview with Entertainment Live yesterday, August 25, "You know, marami pa kaming mga bagay-bagay na dapat pag-usapan at dapat ayusin. Pumunta siya dito sa Pilipinas, nagkaayos kami, pinakisamahan ko siya, and maganda naman ang pag-uusap namin. "For the 11 days that he was here, magkasama kami, masaya kami bilang isang pamilya. Now, what's gonna happen in the future, hindi natin alam. Ruffa relayed she and the kids—Lorin and Venice—did not go to the airport with Yilmaz when he went back to Turkey last Tuesday, August 21. "Since ayaw ni Yilmaz ng nagpapahatid sa airport, ayaw niya ng drama. I mean, even with his kids, sinabi niya sa mga anak ko, ‘Daddy is gonna go to space and visit Kokey.' ‘Okay, Bubba, when you come back, can you bring Kokey here?' The actress-host said that she was not sure about her husband's plans of going back to the country. Nevertheless, she was happy about the results of Yilmaz's last visit. "Well, I'm not sure what his plans are, pero open ang communications namin. I think importante naman po, magkabati kami, kasi after everything that's been said and done, mapangit naman na magkaaway kami," according to Ruffa. She also added, "We have two beautiful children and I think we should be responsible enough para maging peaceful naman ang pagsasama namin." Meanwhile, Ruffa said she understands that her family, especially her mom, preferred not talking to Yilmaz while he was in the country. "I think it's still fresh in their minds since ayaw pa rin nilang harapin si Yilmaz. Although nandyan ang intention ni Yilmaz na makipagbati...And also, it's always like this, ‘Time heals all wounds,' di ba? And despite her mom's being too vocal about refusing to talk to Yilmaz, Ruffa said, "Ang masasabi ko lang with regard to my mom, you know, she's my mom and hindi ko siya mabe-blame na she's overprotective." Then, instead of continuing her statement, Ruffa cut the interview and invited the viewers to watch The Buzz later today. She said, "Pero lahat po ng sasabihin ko about my mom, manood na lang po kayo The Buzz tomorrow [August 26]." - Philippine Entertainment Portal
