Camille Prats dated Toni Gonzaga’s beau - manager

Camille Prats's manager Arnold Vigafria finally spoke about the pregnancy issue involving his young ward. Arnold at first issued an apology to the entertainment press and the public for not divulging Camille's real situation early on when rumors started brewing brought mainly by her reported departure to the United States. The pregnancy was confirmed last Friday, September 7, here in PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), by Camille's mother herself, Mrs. Alma Prats. "Inaamin na namin ngayon na totoo ngang buntis si Camille. Four months na siya," confessed Arnold to Startalk in a taped interview aired yesterday, September 8. The admission affirmed Mrs. Prats's earlier statement regarding her daughter's delicate condition. "Tingin ko siguro hindi ‘to planado. Aksidente lamang itong pangayayari," surmised Arnold when asked about his thoughts on whether Camille and her non-showbiz boyfriend, Anthony, were indeed planning to become parents. Curiously, the name of Toni Gonzaga's current beau, director Paul Soriano, is being dragged into the issue. Arnold didn't confirm whether Paul and Camille truly became an item; although he revealed that the two had gone through the dating stage. "I think nagkakilala sila nung medyo nagkahiwalay yata sila ng boyfriend niya. Nagpunta ng New York, medyo nagkalabuan yata sila or something. Nakilala ko si Paul Soriano siguro mga five months ago. I think they're just dating that time. Nagdi-date sila then after nun, hindi ko na nakita si Paul." As expected, it wasn't easy at first for Camille's parents to accept the startling news given her young age of 22 and being a certified daddy's girl. "At first siyempre, paboritong babaeng anak ‘yan ng tatay niya, siyempre masakit sa ama 'yon. Masakit sa kanya then pati sa Mommy niya tsaka kay John Prats [Camille's brother]," revealed the seasoned manager. While waiting to give birth, Camille will keep herself busy by taking up a short course—the same reason she gave when she previously announced her short hiatus from showbiz—to make the most of her US stay. With regards to Camille's plans, Arnold shared, "Kukuha siya ng short course... education at the same time doon siya [sa US] manganganak. Magbabalik siya sa GMA-7 by... Iku-continue pa rin, dire-diretso pa rin ang trabaho niya pagbalik n'ya next year, mga January or February after giving birth." Despite temporarily losing one of his talents, Arnold said that he's excited for the young actress. He's also positive that the former child star would be able to regain her ground once she comes back to resume her showbiz career. "I'm happy for her because it's a new milestone in her life and this is the essence of being a complete woman, bearing a child, di ba? Sabi ko sa kanya, 'It's a gift from God and tanggapin mo ‘yan.
