The lone fatality recorded so far was identified as Ronald Te-od, 21, of Bayao village in Pinukpok town in Kalinga. Injured was Byron Mangwang, 15, of Catabbogan village also in Pinukpok.

However, the report did not say what caused the death of Te-od or how Mangwang was injured.

On the other hand, the list included 14 missing crewmembers of the cargo ship Mia, which sank off Palawan. The 14 are feared dead after Coast Guard and Navy ships failed to find them.

The typhoon also damaged 12 road sections, 10 major roads, two secondary roads due to landslides, washed-out approaches and collapse of soil slope.

Also closed were the Balbalan-Pinukpok Road, Calanan-Pinukpok-Abbut Road and Saltan Bridge in Kalinga.
