Occasional rainshowers expected Nov 1, 2 -Pagasa

With a shallow low-pressure area and the tail end of a cold front, the weather on Thursday and Friday will likely have occasional "isolated" rainshowers and thunderstorms. In a special weather outlook posted on its website Wednesday night, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the two weather systems would affect the country for the next several days. "For October 31, Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the shallow low pressure area with gradual improvement of the weather come November 01. The rest of the country including Metro Manila will have generally good weather condition except for some isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or early evening," it said. On Friday, Pagasa said extreme Northern Luzon and Eastern Luzon would have light rains due to the passage of a tail end of cold front. "The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms," it said. - GMANews.TV
