Bombero sa Pinas, US beauty queen

Dearest Kapuso, I read about this email regarding the unsolicited email stories of Pinoys working abroad. Hindi naman masyado significant ang kwento ng buhay ko, but perhaps okay rin if I am going to share my life stories. Maybe it will serve as an inspiration to all my Gay younger sisters d'yan sa Pinas. Marami na rin akong lugar na napuntahan at napag-trabahuhan before I fulfilled my American Dream. It took me 10 years after college graduation before I landed in USA. I used to be a college instructor and then a fireman na bading sa Cubao. Record breaking din 'yun because during that time the Bureau of Fire was refusing to accept gays in the service but I proved them wrong that gays can serve the men's world, too. My friends used to know me as pinaka-maarte at pinaka-beauty queen kung kumilos when I was in high school but needless to say that I did not expect to be in the fire service. Dala kasi ng sobrang hirap maghanap ng magandang trabaho at benefits kaya napilitan akong mag-apply sa Fire. After undergoing the training in Canlubang with all other 499 males in different regions, 'di ko lang namalayan na-survive ko pala lahat ng pahirap nila despite sa pagiging binabae ko. Some of my officials even dared to find ways for me to be terminated dahil nga sa bakla ako. But the Civil Service protected me from that harm. I spent my government service around 5 years din sa Fire Department bago ako pumunta ng America to work in Medical Field.
