Young star cries over hot kissing scene with Pacquiao

The tabloids had been recently crowded with the issue about Jinky Pacquiao, wife of boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, sending an unpleasant text message to young actress Valerie Concepcion. It all started when Jinky allegedly found out about Manny's torrid kissing scene with Valerie in the 2007 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Anak ng Kumander.

Valerie herself received the text message and forwarded it to Entertainment Live. It read: "This is Jinky Pacquaio, I saw you with my husband in a kissing scene. How sweet!

UNAWARE OF KISSING SCENE. Reli de Leon, a close friend of the Pacquaios said that Jinky never sent a message to Valerie. Valerie's manager, Becky Aguila, was also surprised with what happened, especially the kissing scene part.

"Tinangap ko itong project na ito with the understanding na si Valerie will be playing a major support role. Walang kissing scene. The most that she can do is hawakan siya [Manny] sa kamay, or yakapin siya," said Becky.

She added that Valerie came up to her to say that the director of the movie, Kaka Balagtas, asked her to do a kissing scene with Manny.

"Bakit ka pumayag?" Becky asked. "We already have this understanding na walang kissing scene. I called the attention of Direk Kaka. I told him that I had to preview that particular kissing scene. Sabi niya sige, and it was done in good taste naman daw.

With that, Becky said that she was disappointed with the film crew because nobody bothered to call her. But for the sake of Valerie's dignity, she requested that the part be edited out.

"I don't have anything against Mr. Pacquaio. I think the best thing to do is for the producer to cut out that part.

VALERIE SPEAKS UP. In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Live yesterday, December 8, Valerie finally speaks up about the whole issue and what she felt during that particular kissing scene.

First off, was she affected by the text message?

Unable to control her tears, she explained that if she were ever to buy a house, she would buy it with her own money.

Sino man ang nag-text na ‘yon, I don't deserve that.

Does Valerie plan to settle things with the Pacquaio family?

"Actually, nakipag-set ng thing ang manager ko with them, so I think kakausapin naman daw nila kami this week," said the young actress.

Was she informed about this kissing scene by the director?

"Pero ako kasi, I've done that before, so akala ko mild lang. Unang-una, ayoko na mag-take two at ayokong palabasin na nag-iinarte ako.

Did she feel exploited at that scene? Will she continue doing the film?

I have nothing against Sir Manny.

In the end, Valerie has these mesasages to Jinky, Manny, and Direk Kaka:

"Ms.

- Philippine Entertainment Portal

> To the Editor:
> This is just a reaction to the above article. I have the impression that Mr. Pacquiao's wife Jinky is getting uncontrollable with her acts. This is evident since actress Ara Mina has experienced almost the same fate as Valerie. I would appreciate it if this email will reach Manny and Jinky Pacquiao. I believed what Valerie has told in her interview and for me she was exploited by the director more so by Manny himself. To Manny, we know that you have given honors to our country but this is not enough for all the Filipinos to believe in anything you say. If fame and money made you think you are also powerful, then think twice! Remember, everything in this world is temporary! Besides, why does Jinky think that every actress Manny will be paired with will go after their money? Is she that insecure already?

I am pretty sure those actresses are not only pretty but also smart not to find eligible and good looking men rather than waste their time on plain looking married man like Manny.
