iGMA discovers Manny Pacquiao's Achilles heel

After bringing honor to the Philippines once again, Manny takes a break from boxing and explores the world of show business. He has just finished a movie, Anak ng Kumander, and now he gives hosting another shot via the show Pinoy Records. iGMA takes an exclusive peek at his first taping day in the Kapuso network. All set and ready Tailor-made for Pacquiao, Pinoy Records marks his re-entry to hosting. Quite used to waking up early, The Pacman was all set and ready when he came to the GMA Network to tape his first episode of Pinoy Records. A true professional, he was ready by 10 a.m. to study his spiels and rehearse his lines despite just arriving from the US the day before. “Whole day kami nag-shooting sa L.A. Pagkatapos ng shooting, lumipad na ako pabalik dito dahil maraming kailangan gawin," he noted. This boxing superstar is surely one busy fellow. In fact his personal liaison officer, Ms. Geleen Eugenio, said he was scheduled to fly to General Santos after his taping to fulfill another commitment. “Wala pang tulog yan, galing America, pag-landing kahapon, nag-dubbing, tapos ngayon andito na," she shared. Manny’s Achilles heel With his enthusiasm and professionalism, Manny Pacquiao is every director’s dream artist, but while shooting his scenes, we discovered the world champ’s Achilles heel – his accent. This General Santos City resident had to rehearse a few lines several times to get the right intonation and pronunciation. But being a true professional, he accepted the corrections and criticisms good naturedly. “Medyo sa umpisa nanibago, pero katagalan, nakasanayan na rin at enjoy pa," confessed Pacquiao about his hosting stint. - iGMA.tv
