Magnitude 5 quake rocks Laguna-Bicol area

A magnitude 5 quake rocked the Laguna-Bicol area Saturday night, but no casualty or damage was reported. The United States Geological Service (USGS) said the quake was recorded at 7:20 p.m., and traced the epicenter 160 north-northeast of San Pedro, Laguna province. In a report on its Web site (www.usgs.gov), the USGS said the epicenter was 190 km north-northwest of Naga City in Bicol, or 215 km east-northeast of Manila. - GMANews.TV
