Navy, Army launch search for fishermen in Aurora

Navy, Army and provincial disaster management officials in Aurora province started Sunday a search for three fishermen who had been missing since December 29. Radio dzBB reported Sunday that a Navy Nomad plane with seven rescue workers aboard flew over the waters of Baler town, after wreckage of the fishermen’s boat was found earlier. The missing fishermen were identified as Marlon Mortel, 31, Joseph Mariño, 22, and Samuel Capitana, 20, all of Baler in Aurora. Relatives of the three said they went out to catch fish for the New Year feast last December 29 but never returned. - GMANews.TV
