Senate arresting team awaits Lozada's arrival at NAIA

An arresting team from the Senate is on standby at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1, waiting for Rodolfo Noel Lozada, a government official, believed to have personal knowledge on the alleged anomalies in the government's National Broadband Network project. Radio dzBB said the team would arrest Lozada, who is scheduled to return to the country Tuesday afternoon, via Cathay Pacific flight CX-919. DzBB interviewed Jess Malit, a priest, who is waiting for Lozada's arrival. The priest confirmed Lozada's scheduled return to the country. Lozada's family reportedly requested the priest to help them ensure Lozada's safety. The arresting team will bring Lozada to the Senate immediately after his arrival at the airport, according to dzBB. Another report by dzBB said Sen. Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Aquino III already went to the airport to fetch Lozada. - GMANews.TV
