3 killed, 26 hurt in Kalinga bus crash

MANILA, Philippines - At least three people were killed while 26 others were injured in a bus crash in Tabuk City in Kalinga province Wednesday afternoon. Radio dzBB reported Wednesday night the incident occurred at the entrance to Bulanao village in Tabuk City, even as police are looking into the possibility the bus was overloaded. One of the survivors, initially identified as Rosalinda dela Cruz-Garcia, said the bus was carrying 50 passengers at the time of the accident. Sketchy initial reports showed the bus was about to enter Bulanao village in Tabuk City when the accident occurred, at about 3:30 to 4 p.m. The bus plies the route between Tabuk and Santiago Cities, via Cauayan City. - GMANews.TV
