GMA7 to air documentary on ZTE-NBN scandal Sunday

MANILA, Philippines - GMA News & Public Affairs will examine this Sunday the connections, motivations and relations behind the infamous ZTE-NBN deal through its hour-long television documentary dubbed as “KONEKYSON: Anatomy of a political scandal." On the documentary’s airing at 10:30 p.m., “GMA network’s news stalwarts Mike Enriquez and Mel Tiangco will come face to face with the key players in the alleged scandal that shook the nation to ask the questions that have remained unanswered weeks after the anomaly erupted," said KONEKSYON organizers in a statement sent to GMANews.TV Saturday. “KONEKSYON will attempt to find the answers to these questions: What prompted former Philippine Forest Corporation President Rodolfo Lozada Jr to speak up? What is stopping National Economic and Development Authority director Romulo Neri from doing the same? What does former poll body chair Benjamin Abalos have to do with the ZTE-NBN deal mess?
