Gabby Concepcion back in town after 13 years

Former matinee idol Gabby Concepcion has returned to the country after a 13-year stay in the United States. Concepcion arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Centennial Terminal 2 at 3:26 a.m. on board a Boeing 744 airplane of the Philippine Airlines Flight PR 105 from San Francisco, USA. GMA’s Flash Report reported Sunday that Concepcion was accompanied by movie producer Rose Flaminiano of FLT Films and was greeted by his fans who brought along a welcome banner and flowers for him. The report quoted Concepcion as saying he missed the Philippines, particularly his friends in the show business. Concepcion also said he wanted to be with his family. He, however, did not answer questions if he will be doing a movie in the country. Gabby recently decided to back out from the comeback movie he is supposed to do with Jolina Magdangal. Last year, the actor signed a contract with GMA Films for the said movie. The actor left the Philippines 13 years ago at the height of the Manila Film Festival controversy involving his then manager Lolit Solis. - Amita Legaspi, GMANews.TV
