Falling glass kills 57-year-old woman in Tondo, Manila

MANILA, Philippines - A 57-year-old woman was killed in Manila after a portion of a glass window fell on her Friday night, radio dzRH reported. The incident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. at the corner of Juan Luna Street and C.M. Recto Avenue in Tondo. Authorities are now investigating how the glass from the 10th floor of a building killed Marie Lemon, according to the report. Initial investigation showed Lemon was standing at the corner of the street when the glass fell on her. She was rushed to the Mary Johnston Hospital, but died while undergoing treatment. - GMANews.TV
