Father, son critical after being hit by lightning in Bukidnon

MANILA, Philippines - A 44-year-old man and his 17-year-old son were in critical condition after being hit by lightning in Lonokan village in Manolo Fortich town in Bukidnon province, radio reports said Saturday night. Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro identified the victims as Bernido Saging, 44, and son Jimboy, 17, both residents of the area. Initial reports showed the two were chopping firewood outside their house when lightning struck them. The two sustained wounds in the legs and bruises in different parts of the body. They were rushed to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center. - GMANews.TV
