Lightning kills fisherman at sea

CANDON CITY, Philippines - A fisherman was killed and his son was rendered momentarily deaf after a lightning hit their boat Monday afternoon in the middle of the sea off Agoo town in La Union. Rogelio Picar Sr, 55, of Sta. Rita village, was instantly killed as the lightning charred his back and shoulders. Rodelio, 27, was rescued in nearby Balwarte village also in Agoo. - GMANews.TV
