GenSan councilor drinks cleaning fluid by mistake - report

MANILA, Philippines - A councilor in General Santos City was briefly taken ill after mistakenly drinking a small amount of cleaning fluid inside a bottle of mineral water Thursday afternoon. Bombo Radyo General Santos reported Thursday evening that councilor Dante Vicente vomited after drinking the liquid during the city council's session. The report quoted the councilor's aide Rosalyn San Juan as saying the bottle was taken from a drawer in the councilor's office. On the other hand, a utility worker admitted placing the bottle inside the councilor's office while cleaning the office toilet.
