Report: 3 dead in Pangasinan in ‘Cosme’ wake; city under state of calamity

MANILA, Philippines - At least three persons were reported killed and two missing in Pangasinan province in the wake of tropical storm "Cosme," a radio report said Sunday. Bombo Radyo Dagupan also reported Dagupan City was placed under a state of calamity because of the damage caused by the storm. It cited initial reports identifying one of the fatalities as Lourdes Castro-Soriano, 72, who died after a sheet of galvanized iron fell on her. The report said an unidentified man was also killed after a piece of metal fell on him. On the other hand, rescuers recovered the body of one of three children reported missing after a tornado hit their house. The three were identified as Randel Poserio, 4; Rodem, 3; and Miguel, 2. The report did not say whose body among the three was recovered. According to the children's mother Rachel, she could not save the three because she was carrying their six-month-old sibling. - GMANews.TV
