UK man faces deportation for unruly behavior at NAIA
MANILA, Philippines - A British tourist was arrested and faces immediate deportation from the Philippines after allegedly engaging airport officials in a fistfight late Tuesday night. Radio dwIZ reported early Wednesday that officials of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport are now coordinating with Korean Airlines for the incident involving Arthur Stilgrove. The report said Stillgrove, 59, arrived in the country about 11 p.m. Tuesday as a tourist but immigration agents at the airport denied him passage for supposedly badmouthing Filipinos. Immigration officers noted Stilgrove was drunk at the time. But Stilgrove allegedly engaged immigration officer Armelo Castro in a verbal confrontation at the arrival area, and challenged him to a fistfight. Responding airport police subdued and handcuffed the British national, who remained in detention as of Wednesday morning. - GMANews.TV
