Military: Flash floods displace 105 people in Sultan Kudarat


At least 105 people are now staying at makeshift evacuation centers following a flash floods that hit their community in Sultan Kudarat province late Friday, the military said Saturday. Col. Prudencio Asto, spokesman of the Army’s 6th Infantry Division, also confirmed at least two people were killed while one remained missing. The body of KC, who was initially listed as missing, was recovered at a bridge in Purok Katilingban, Busok village, six kms away from where she was last seen. Injured were Marcelita Catitista, 47, and Mariel Catitista, 12. The floods also damaged 15 houses and livestock, and six cows were missing. — JE/VS, GMA News
